East of the Mississippi
This past weekend, Red Bull held an event across the Ol’ Miss, way over where Minneapolis is on both sides of our shared river. (See my PS).
And seeing how it’s a Red Bull Event™… I expected something eXtReMe.
Flugtag, as the event is called, is German for Flight Day.
Human Powered Flight Day, at that.
I envisioned ramps. Scientific innovation. Flapping.
So my son and I hop in the car, fight for parking, and go to see the Flugtag.
Did I mention how extreme it would be?

P.S. Ask what’s the dividing line between Saint Paul and Minneapolis…
And most people around our Twin Cities would say the Mississippi River.
So why, I ask you, does anything east of the river belong to Minneapolis at all?
Cato the Elder said, “Carthage Must Fall.”
And I say, Saint Paul must take what is ours!
