Do YOU play “Last Bite”?

Not how I expected fame, but it’s a delicious way to make an enemy.

A Technique for Producing Ideas, a book by James Webb Young, has a 5-step process for generating ideas:

Research.

Cram it in your brain.

Let your subconscious brew.

Hit gold with a Eureka! moment.

Test and refine your new idea.

But there’s another way I want to tell you about.

Sometimes, to find a good idea, you have to move past all the bad ideas first.

Which is exactly whay my brother Andrew and his friends Patrick and Jonathan are doing with their podcast, The Pitch.

They work through terrible ideas until they come up with something less terrible they can pitch to investors.

Or, more often than not, episodes are just a whole lot of laughs.

Now, The Pitch released a new episode this week titled Bites.

And Andrew shares his first experience with a little game we like to play called Last Bite.

You know how every meal has that perfect bite, *|FNAME|*? The one you’ve been saving?

Be careful with it.

To understand what I mean, check out Episode 203 of The Pitch now. The story starts at 8:57, but there are plenty of laugh-out-loud bad ideas before that.

Last Bite is not how I expected fame.

But I’ll take it.

Listen to The Pitch episode 203 here.

Love you,

Jeffrey

PS. I’m not on this podcast, but I will be on a different podcast soon, discussing watches.

I’ll let you know when that episode drops, possibly this week even.
