I finished reading The Odyssey last night.
And read The Illiad earlier in February.
That’s two books down on my list of Great Books.
And while I’m excited for my next pick –– Saint Augustine’s Confessions –– I currently have something else on the pile to get through first:
You Can’t Teach a Kid to Ride a Bike at a Seminar.
I’ve heard told it’s the best book on sales out there.
And from what I’ve read so far, the first 20 pages or so, I don’t think that’s too big of a stretch.
Because the book teaches you not to focus on your products or offers…
But on something more compelling: Pain.
Which, of course, is different in every market.
And that’s why we research.
