What’s your backup plan?

BOOM.

And like that, my neighborhood just lost power.

I was avoiding work… ordering books from a German website that I can’t read…and now my work feels urgent… but no electricity.

It’s not a common issue, this power loss.

But when you work from home you gotta have backup plans.

Clients don’t care if your power goes out, if your laptop crashes, or if your pet has cornered a raccoon in the back yard and your brain is thinking about rabies.

(But that was last week—and the dog’s fine.)

Clients have a business to run—and you have a time delay to deliver your marketing materials.

Meaning, waiting until the last minute isn’t wise.

Because sometimes?

Fit hits the shan.

Now I’m at the community center. They have free coffee, wifi and cushioned chairs.

And as a copywriter that’s all you need.

Have a powerful day,

Jeffrey
