“Life sure is bUsY!” —someone from 1889 (request for help!)

Ice-covered Wisconsin

Heya, it’s “Spring Break”—but you’d never know it after the 2 inches of ice and 4 inches of snow we got here at my in-laws’ home.

Internet is spotty, requiring a hotspot.

Power is spotty, too, requiring a propane generator.

But I can still type and work and check in with you!

Hey two things today.

First, I could use your help, *|FNAME|*.

I’m looking for a quote from someone from, say, 100 years ago or more, that talks about how busy life was way-back-when.

Even 3,000 years ago, if you have one from Socrates or someone.

Because life is obviously more busy today. But I’m looking for quote that reveals how humans pretty much always feel as though life is on the brink of spiraling out of control.

I read one recently, but I don’t know who said it or where I read it, so anything you can provide would help.

Hit reply and let me know.

Jeffrey

PS. Oh yeah. I said, two things.

Daughter’s iPod is acting up, saying there’s a connected wired headset. There is not. So we can’t hear anything…

Meanwhile, my iPhone won’t route phone audio through the connected wired headset—which is indeed connected and does really exist..

(I’ve been on Apple iPhone for a bit over 5 months and it’s beyond frustrating to me, a lifelong Android user.)

And fixing these stupid problems makes me happy to be a copywriter, no longer working in IT.

SO:

On April 29, my employer MarketingProfs is hosting B2B All-Stars, a day of marketing training from 10 awesome presenters.

It’s FREE.

I’ve seen a handful of the presentations that’ll be given, and they’re GREAT.

If you’d like some marketing training and inspiration, or just a bit more info about what I’m going on about, click here:

https://www.marketingprofs.com/events/b2b-all-stars/home/sa/

Like I said—registration is free.

And I hope, zero IT support needed.
