“I had no idea…”

Saint Paul

“Let me out!” the man screams.

But no one is coming.

More angry than afraid, Leo Beebe smashes the window and storms out of the room.

Below, he can see his boss getting into a car.

Beebe is too late.

Carroll Shelby revs the engine and rockets onto the racetrack, with Henry Ford II repeating, “Oh my God, oh my God…”

They stop. Ford starts to cry.

“I had no idea…”

It’s 1966, and Beebe is trying to sabotage Shelby’s renegade racing team.

But a dramatic demonstration of the Ford GT40 convinces Henry Ford II that not just anyone can handle a car like this.

Shelby gets to keep his team, including his driver, Ken Miles. And they go on to win the 24-hour Le Mans race, four years in a row.

How can you make a dramatic demonstration?
