By now you’ve heard about Charlie Kirk, a man who gave a microphone to his critics and responded to hostility with reason and humility.
It’s a sad day in America when voices are silenced… people are killed… families are destroyed…
…for speaking ideas.
Ideas they believe will make the world a better place.
Ideas they want to persuade others to believe in, and take action on.
Because that’s what I’m here to do.
That’s what you are here to do, too.
Not to hide our light. To let it shine.
It doesn’t matter what you thought of Kirk’s politics.
If we can’t debate the merits of ideas, we’re lost.
